A5 Jailbreak is Live For OSX, Windows Coming Soon

So now that iPhone4s is jailbroken...I need to buy one before 5.1 comes out!! I live in California.....A while back i thought I read somewhere on this forum, that a certain retailer (can't remember which one) only charges u tax on the $199 price, and not the full price of the phone....Anyone know about this, and if it is true? And if so which store it is? It would be a big savings, probably save around $80 or so with the ridiculous tax rate in Cali. If anyone has any info on this it would be much appreciated!

Just used CLI on windows for my iPad 2. Worked great. Took like 10 minutes and I was jail broke. From the videos I seen using absinthe on Mac, this process might be quicker? My iPad 2 is jailbroke using CLI, Worked great although did require a restore for me... A small sacrifice for such a big gain!!!

So glad I still have my vmware install of osx that works =) .. jailbreak went extremely smooth, though the absinthe app threw an error about not being able to connect to the database.. despite that, it worked anyway..

This is not the right JB tool for windows...Anyone looking for the correct way to jailbreak an A5 device on windows, you must follow instructions on injecting corona through windows Command Prompt. There is a link on the next page of posts or go to idownloadblog.com....Very easy to do if you FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!

Weird, Used the CLI version on my windows machine, Worked first time with no issues on my Iphone 4S

But it refuses to work on my Ipad 2 Wifi on 5.0.1, Tried it about 5 times now with no luck :/
