I'll just wait for the multi firmware next generation hacks jailbreak it is used from safari like jailbreak me did and it works from 5.0.1 and below ... The exploit has not been disclosed yet it'll be a week or two til it comes out

Why the push to update to 5.0.1 then, notes could have been more clear.

Furthermore, it’s recommended that if you are on iOS 5.0.1 (9A406), that you downgrade your baseband by going to the 9A405 version of iOS 5.0.1 while the window is still open.

I'm on 9A406, does it make a differnce or should I down grade? Would 405 remove 406 when restoring?

So long as I'm able to get onto Cydia for theme it I'll be ok for a day whilst Cydia calms down

Actually modmyi's repo held pretty strong. It did falter a little. Bigboss repo and zodttd had way more issues.

Yeah it was way annoying because I couldn't download anything from bigboss or tweaks from Modmyi because they require something from bigboss.

If you have just upgraded to IOS 5 u must be on A4 chip and there is already a jailbreak for that... Oh and MMI please can u sort out ur app typing blind at the moment!!

Because he has to have an iPhone 4 if he just updated to ios 5. The 4s comes with it.
