Apple Files Two More Patent Suits Against Samsung With German Courts

Bloomberg is reporting Apple filed a new lawsuit in Germany taking aim at Samsung’s Android handsets.
Late last year Germany’s Dusseldorf Court called into question Apple’s previous design patent suit against Samsung, but this was after Apple won an initial injunction in September. Also, the previous suit involved the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, not the 10 handsets targeted in the new suit including the Galaxy S II and S Plus.
Apple started another separate suit against five additional tablets as well. Both suits were not filed under emergency proceedings and allow Apple new procedures against both Samsung’s handsets and tablets.
While Apple did receive a blow with the Dusseldorf Court’s comment that they were unlikely to grant an injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1N, Apple still managed to make Samsung change the design of their tablet with the “N” model. If Apple’s efforts against the handsets mentioned in the suit Samsung may need to retool their phones in order to avoid another preliminary injunction.
The intellectual property right wars are still in their infancy, and it appears Apple is the dedicated harbinger of doom rather than a bringer of peace. Oh well, all I want is the A5 jailbreak. Like now.

I see a pattern here, Samsung releases new products (Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 7.7) and apple reponds with a lawsuit with the hope of slowing down or delaying the products until they become obsolete like they did with the Galaxy Tab 10.1--a tablet that was already 6 months old by the time it hit shelves in Australia.
Pretty grimmey if you ask me.

I find this suing thing kind of mess up. No offense but I prefer Android over iOS.

iOS > android :P
Why cause if I go to a general store a super market or electronics store looking for an iPhone case they will have one not a specific one but they will have one. However if I go looking for a droid case I will probably not find one unless I do research order online or go to there store.
To me all apple is is simple only a couple of devices with simple features.Last edited by Mrteacup; 01-17-2012 at 10:25 PM.

Honestly, you have to admit Samsung phones do resemble a lot like iPhones... I don't ever hear that about HTC or Nokia phones.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and sent it back in a week. It was almost $700 and it felt like a cheap piece of plastic. Typing on it was a pain in the butt and even it can ICS I still had issues with it. The mail application is really bad and doesn't support PUSH IMAP for a lot of email.

Oh and when Samsung asked to see Apple's next generation iPhone and iPad before it was even released, that was okay? Oh okay.
I remembered that you posted this on a different thread:
Last time I checked you need a Mac to develop.I never was interested in Macs. I find Windows easier to get around and will probably keep using Windows and Linux in the future.
