lol I had one of those as well. In fact I kept the factory tape deck and CD changer in my Integra from when I bought it in 2001 up until 2006 when I finally bought a used CD player off of a buddy. The cassette adapter never would work in my Integra stereo, it always kept flipping directions forward and backward for some reason. I tried using the cassette adapter with an old iRiver H20 MP3 player, but it never could get it to work. Then when I bought the CD player I got the aux input cable for the deck and used that for the MP3 player.

When I had my 06 WRX, had to solder 2 wires directly on the circuit board of my factory 6 disc stereo and solder the auxiliary on the other end, drilled a hole on a blank cover (you know the one that exist when you didn't buy the additional option for your car).and it worked great but not quite as good as all trouble I went thru. Now I've got my IS300 and I use the cassette tape option and it works just as good if not better and it was free cause the seller left it in the glove compartment...lol.

I had one of these in my car when I was 16 and I'm 34 now .. that's 18 years ago folks! You can find these things cheaper than $9.99 ..

I'm honestly shocked these things are still being made, I thought they'd gone the way of the walkman .. it would be more useful to have some way to magically hook up our idevice to a cd player that doesn't have any other inputs =)

I use one of these every day to listen to my siriusxm from my iPhone and even tho it's old tech I didn't even think of it for a while... It's like the tech was so old it didn't even come to mind so this could help some...
