Not very practical and there isn't nearly enough games to be worth it. OnLive's streaming games and WIRELESS controller seems like a better idea. Real console games are streamed and able to play on your ipad/iphone/android over wifi AND 3G. I think it was supposed to be approved by apple dec. 7, but I don't think it has yet... we will see.

I think this is pointless. If I want to play on a controller then I'll just play on my Xbox 360. This is just my opinion but I don't think this will sell as many units as the other bluetooth game pads already available.

Cool. I'd prefer actually having more games to play though, which is where the Apple App Store shines.

Except, there's only 2 games that even support this thing. Android market is open, so there will be many more games for their controllers because there are no restrictions like there are on the apple app store.

I thought about a controller for iPhone and iPod touch but something that you mount your device on it and it makes it looks like a PSP or Nintendo DS, but it's only an idea I have no resources to start this project

I want to know how this thing works... I'm gonna make a guess that each button is a different frequency sound and when pressed, it sends the sound to the mic input and the game recognizes it as a button press. If someone could record the sounds from the controller, anyone would be able to make one of these.

If thats how it works, I'd have to say it's pretty ingenious.

Been begging for this for a while. You could still use your headphones and charger while gaming. The games would be seriously limited in terms of AI, but could be 100x more challenging and fun. Especially 2D Fighters.
