I spent some time living in the north of England and I can tell you the muggers there were grateful for everything. A friend of mine had his car door pried open with a crowbar; the thieves stole a can of de-icer. Another got mugged for a Bic biro pen (about $0.15 new - probably free with shipping if sold 2nd hand on eBay!). American muggers should learn to be more appreciative. Turning down Droids and BlackBerrys?!? Shame on them! I blame their upbringing ;-)
