I can make a GS2 last 24 hours...if I don't use it. Glass does shatter easier than plastic but it also looks a lot better which is why it is used in the GS2 as well as the iPhone 4.

I'm happy to hear you've ONLY experienced 4 force closes since August. I've had my iPhone 4 since last year and I've experienced 0. All computers experience memory leaks the longer they are run without a fresh boot. Smartphones are computers. Very small computers with less functionality than a full desktop or laptop but still computers thus are subject to the same issues common in ALL computers.

Mostly thinner is not thinner. 8.87mm-9.91mm is not thinner than 9.3mm since the thickest part of the GS2 is thicker than the thickest part of the iP4. If it was a pure argument based on the thinnest possible area then the winner would just design a phone that has a useless part that tapers to a razor edge just to make that claim, which is absurd.

The reason malware is on the Android market is because Google allows it to exist through their lackadaisical approach to monitoring apps. Apple declines apps that are malware to protect the end user. Shocking.

Wrong again, the 1/3rd comment is pretty damn accurate but your too stubborn to see. Look its pretty simple actually and no one needs to go through all the apps to prove it. Pick a few apps in any category and look around those ones and you likely see about 2, 3 or more that have nearly indentical functionality, then apply that to the entire store and the numbers speak for themselves.

Glad to see you haven't experience a FC on an Iphone, if you did I'd be extremely surprised. Androids do not have memory leaks, if you actually paid attention when you used one you would see that the OS shuts down apps as they are not used and gives the memory back to the OS, in the odd event it gets low on memory you still have a task manager, which Apple either doesn't understand how to implement or is just to ignorant to care.

If you guys have tried the Galaxy Tab vs. the iPad 2 when using something like quickoffice or docs to go then there is a very noticeable accuracy problem with the galaxy tab when typing in landscape mode like a regular keyboard.

The reason I bring it up is because I had the opportunity to try out a GS2 and the same problem exists in landscape mode when composing a text.

I wonder if the lack of materials available due to Apple gobbling them all up is causing lesser quality ones to get shipped to Samsung instead.

This would be a software bug not hardware, if it were hardware related it would have nothing to do with lesser quality materials, it would be due to the hardware design and implementation.

Larger screen, removable battery, active wallpapers, etc. It's all fluff.

The iPhone may not do as much but it also doesn't claim to do everything either. Despite not doing everything, what it does do it does better than anyone else and a 96% customer satisfaction rating backs that up.

Dear Samsung, less is more. we dont need widgets which is nowhere near useful, live wallpapers that no one gives a **** about and fancy thin devices that is flimsy to the touch. i find it ultra-contradicting for a device to be thin but overly wide. plus, i cant type as easily as i do on my iphone 4 than on the SGS2. and removable battery? seriously? during my last 10 years where i have used phones with removable batteries, i have never really made use of the "removable battery" feature. bleah,
