[Review] Customize Your Slide to Unlock Text!

You can make the slide to unlock text say whatever you want it to!

This new jailbreak tweak is dubbed Slider Enhancer and it allows you some extra options for your slider bar for free. Slider Enhancer is by a jailbreak developer known as Ron Melkhior. It lets you not only adjust the text to be whatever you want it to be, but you can have your battery percentage, your time, your current Wi-Fi network, or your current IP address as the label instead. If you're more creative, you can simply put whatever you want in the slide to unlock bar and it will appear as whatever you type into the settings in the Settings application. The settings can be seen below:



As you can see from the settings above, I changed the custom text to read, "Modmyi" and as shown by the heading picture of this review, you can see that it changed the slide to unlock label to match what I typed in. You can type anything. What makes this jailbreak tweak different from others is that you can have more than just text, but you can also have the other options shown in the settings above. This tweak is compatible with both iOS 4 and iOS 5.

Can't beat the price of free. Will try it on my 4S, whenever a jailbreak is released. My iPhone is so NAKED without a JB but i still love it.

Of course it doesn't. There is no slide to unlock text. Why would you think it would work if the text is not shown with androidlock XT?

Yes there is slide to unlock text. Have you tried the newest version on iOS 5 recently? The developer had to make it so that you slide to unlock and THEN use the android lock. He did that so that you can use the iOS camera button on the lock screen.

Great tweak but it doesn't work with Androidlock XT.

Last time I used Androidlock (it's been a while) it already allowed you to customize the "slide to unlock" text.

I don't know how to do all that file and .zip stuff. All this seems confusing to me. I also can't jailbreak my iPod. I don't want to, either (it's not legal, either). Can anyone explain it to me in a more... less jailbreaking, less smart-talk way? Lol(:

Yeah and with iFile you have the option of removing the slider's bar as well.
