Dragon Shout is much more than a bland PDF map users can swipe through, it includes interactive elements like annotated markers for anything including alchemy components. According to an interview with TouchArcade the developers plan to turn Dragon Shout into a Skyrim social hub of sorts allowing marker sharing, picture sharing, app-wide chats and more.
Dragon shout is free sweetening the deal for heavy Skyrim players, which is most likely all Skyrim players. Anyone else would take one look at the in-game map, realize the three inches they moved on the map took 10 minutes of game-time and go back to Modern Warfare Three.
Expect Dragon Shout to be available in the the App Store within the next few days.

Pretty bland at the moment. It is a blank map that you can use to post notes for yourself. The social part is not usable right now. When that is usable and your able to get friends and share notes then it will be more valuable.
