Jailbreak Tweak Enables Siri Dictation on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPod Touch
Many iOS hackers and developers have been trying to port Siri to older iDevices since its release on the iPhone 4S. So far the progress that has been made has showed that the Siri technology doesn’t require the iPhone 4S’ A5 processor or increased memory, so limiting the technology to the 4S is clearly a marketing tactic utilized by Apple.
A developer named Eric Day (@smartype) has uploaded a new jailbreak package called Siri0us, which is described as having “Siri” dictation for your iOS 5 devices. The big issue with porting Siri to older iOS devices is that iPhone 4S keys and files are required, but this isn’t the case with this jailbreak tweak. The tool works accurately and runs smooth. Furthermore, it has been tested on several devices and seems to work fine. The dictation is largely accurate and doesn’t take much time either. The technology is actually Nuance-based dictation, but in the end, it is pretty much the same as Siri. Just to clarify, you will need an internet connection for the microphone to show up.
To get the jailbreak package for yourself, add the following repo to your Cydia sources; http://apt.if0rce.com then all you have to do is search for “Siri0us.” It’s been noted that some users may run into issues when trying to install. One of the common issues during the installation was users complaining about their iDevice continually respringing. If this happens to you, do not restore, instead use the SHSH tool to remove the following file /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AssistantServices.framework from your iDevice.
I personally didn’t have any issues when installing the package and everything continues to work flawlessly. Siri0us has worked for many and although it doesn't full Siri functionality, it does provide some of the utility. Check it out and let us know what you think below!

I have it installed on my 3gs ios5. It works really well to call phone numbers but no microphone icon appears anywhere, even after a restart. Great port so far!

To be clear; does one have to be on ios5 for this to work or is it compatible on iOS 4.3.3?
