It isn't an infection. The reason antivirus programs see it as a threat is because it needs to change the server in iTunes to send crash reports to Chronic Dev instead of Apple. That kind of system tampering is what AVG doesn't play nicely with.

I don't care what they do with my crash reports, I wouldn't even care if they gave all of them to you. It's not like it will ruin my life...

TBH I think you are a little bit too sensitive, and that you don't trust other people enough.

You are sending them a history of stock iOS application crashes. Only the crashes. The console information. It will not collect crash reports from your downloaded applications or jailbreak tweaks. By finding the iOS stock applications that crash, it means bad code. They can check to see if other devices have the same problem to look for inconsistencies. If it's consistent that means iOS has a bug and they might be able to use it for a jailbreak. They will only exploit holes that are common throughout iOS applications themselves.

If you've seen what a crash report looks like, all it does is send a little Window of your actions that caused it to crash. None of your personal information is uploaded. Using this window, they can reproduce the crash as an exploit.

lol, today I sent 146 crash reports. And the fun part is that I've gotten all of those crash reports within 24 hours It must have been that siri0us tweaks fault for all those crash reports, it has kept bugging me all day

What's the difference. Apple is collecting them anyway. Who's to say what apple is doing with those. Every one of their employees that have to code ect has probly seen them. I trust chronic more than random apple employees.

I assure you Chronic Dev Team is NOT code for a secret government society that's out to find, rape, and kill you with a special isotope imbedded Ink in which little aliens and demons will sprout from your little boy junk. Your personal information is NOT important! GUARANTEED! Besides people don't want to steal others identities that have had to claim bankruptcy from credit card debt racked up from online porn sites.

My advice to you (as I'm sure many people have thought this exact same thing) is go see a mental health professional because I think there's some paranoid schizophrenia taking hold there.

And yes this guy is always talking about how important his "personal information" is to him. He probably has it sewn into a teddy bear that he holds oh so tightly. He's given his "FRIENDS" special instructions to ONLY open the bear if he disappears or dies in some strange way.
