MuscleNerd Hints Promising 4S Unlock is in the Works

MuscleNerd's tweeted photo lends credibility to progress in unlocking an iPhone 4S.

According to MuscleNerd's recent tweet about his Thanksgiving weekend, he seems to have been on double duty; spending time with the family for Thanksgiving, and pinpointing a potential iPhone 4S unlock. Although I can't speak for the first, it seems that significant progress has been made towards unlocking an iPhone 4S. His tweeted photo showcases what he has thus far.



Many of us may look at this picture and are utterly confused on what tale it should tell. For those of us who don't speak or read the "native language," let's take this at face value; this picture deems that progress is being made, and the photographer of this photo is telling the story as "It's promising." The saga is for sure not finished, but it would seem that the story is escalating little by little each day. And this point in the story is another milestone crossed.

The Thanksgiving season is not only about spending time with family, but expressing gratitude for all the wonderful things in your life. Don't forget to thank MuscleNerd for all his hard work - he's a vital component to ensure us jailbreakers the freedom we so crave!

Note: In terms of other stories and news about an iPhone 4S unlock being worked on elsewhere or that there's a working method, I would be extremely wary about what you read and believe. The jailbreak teams have never given us a reason to loosen our trust - let's stick to what progress they have for us, shall we?

Huge thanks to MuscleNerd and everyone else involved! I know my iPhone 4S will be jailbroken. I am always patient when it comes to these things. I would rather them be a stable JB and all the kinks worked out than get a JB and it be buggy and unreliable.

Many thanks, MuscleNerd!! I really appreciate your diligence and hard work. I will be completely honest, I'm checking this forum 10+ times a day waiting for the new jailbreak. I am sure I am not the only one!!
I pre-ordered and received my iP4s on the first day it was released, but it's still new-in-box inactivated until MuscleNerd comes through!! IMO, iP4 jailbroken is superior to stock iP4s.

While you are right, I would EXPECT a jailbreak to come alongside this. It seems root access needs to be granted (which is synonysmous with jailbreak).
