FastPdfKit First Siri Controlled App, Siri Can Now Start Your Car
Last week plamoni debuted the SiriProxy server showing it is possible to use Siri to make custom command Siri plug-ins. FastPdfKit devs used the Siri proxy to make their application the first Siri controlled App.
FastPdfKit communicates with Siri through the proxy server, but getting everything working takes a little more coding and elbow grease. The Siri enabled FastPdfKit includes new commands in the apps code to include those commands accepted by Siri via chat server. The chat server immediately sends the data to the iOS program and the application “parses the content and reacts accordingly.”
Amazingly, the process—outlined here—can be replicated in other applications with only a couple of hours of work. There’s no reason every app can’t have this functionality. The biggest leap though, making the proxy process simple enough for everyone to use. Setting up a SiriProxy isn’t exactly something someone who can barely turn the TV can do,nor should it be. But, unless it becomes that easy, its unlikely that the added functionality of SiriProxies will be realized by anyone outside of the jailbreak community.
Another interesting SiriProxy plugin created by Brandon Fiquett lets users with a Viper SmartStart module installed in their cars control numerous function with Siri. Fiquette can start and stop his engine, arm and disarm the alarm, pop the trunk, and initiate the panic feature.
Siri is fast becoming as useful as many wished it would.
For others, Skynet is closer to becoming self-aware.

Again hackers win.
They can do more than Apple ever could but wait for it, Apple will steal their ideas and give them no credit for it.
You should patent your work so when Apple steals it and they will you can sue them and make millions from them.

This feature of Siri requires no jailbreaking or unlocking. Know what means? It's an INTENDED function of the application throughout iOS 5. That's right - Apple knows the possibilities are limitless and wants Siri to work that way.

Does it really matter? It's inevitable... Dip into the iPhone 4s security system and We'll see how long it takes for a 4s jailbreak. Go ahead and make that untethered as well. Waiting...
