Enhance iOS 5 album functionality in the Photos.app with PhotoAlbums+.

Prior to iOS 5's incorporation of albums in Photos, PhotoAlbums+ was the only way of creating folders and organizing your pictures directly from your iOS device (available only for jailbroken devices). Now that iOS 5 is public and folder creation is available for free, many may question the validity or relevance of PhotoAlbums+. The SpiritOfLogic didn't take this issue as a setback and enhanced PhotoAlbums+ to go hand in hand with iOS 5 and added more features as the icing. It brought its staple private album and protection capabilities to iOS 5 and improved the whole application significantly. Way to fight back!

The full list of changes to PhotoAlbums+ is below:

Full iOS 5 integration (stock-design integration as well)
Move photos to existing or new album (on top of the add (copy) function that iOS 5 introduces)
Private albums tab (can be protected by single password)
Protect individual albums with individual passwords
Improved USB mapping (can copy albums off your device onto a PC)

(Any settings for PhotoAlbums+ will be found in Settings -> PhotoAlbums+)

For existing owners, this upgrade is free; new buyers will need to pay $4.99. Compatibility is the full shebang - all iOS devices.

In all honestly, it would be far easier to just flat out buy a copy of this app rather than have to go through all the nonsense required to enter these drawings. Way too complicated for a $5 app IMO. Looks like an amazing app BTW, gonna be a great one to pick up.

Maybe it's nice to add a 'face detection method' where it automatically saves 'a picture' to an album based on, well, the face of an individual. Is that too much to ask? Haha. Also, what about an album within an album? It's nice for those holiday/vacation pics.

would love to win a copy of photoalbums. the private folders is a must !1. maybe you could allow to choose the thumbnail picture for each album, like go inside an album and choose a picture and set it to be the thumbnail.2. and an option to hide the private pictures would be great, with a lock button on the top bar of the pictures app for better privacy for some ppl.thank you @Modmyi, thank you @joshmtucker cydia# 3002924

I was wondering what would happen to my investment. Nice to have an update as to what's going on. Thanks Mr tucker and sorry for calling you Bouchard. Your soo much better than him...

Is it possible to add "share" function to email an album(s) with a zipped file, and upload an album(s) to Facebook or google+ or dropbox? Cydia number: #2282374

I have been waiting a long time for something like that. A shortcut for moving the entire content of an album into an new one would be great.

Why would one buy this when iOS 5 has this already built in except for private albums. if you want private photos download my secret folder from the app store for only $1 dollar as oppose to 5. And you don't even have to be jailbroken. For all you 4S users

This is pretty convenient for the privacy feature alone.. although one thing I think could improve the app is to allow numeric passcode entry (similar to the lockscreen) as a password. Even randomizing the numeric layout each session so you enter it according to your memorized code (and friends/others don't memorize your tap pattern on the screen).Good luck to everyone

I think the best ways to improve this tweak is to let us create albums inside albums and to add a camera shortcut inside the photos.app (sometimes could come in handy).Cydia Number: 264547

Photoalbum+ is the most useful tweak so far...and it if it can add a ui change option to photos,like android ui for ios for example,it's gonna be most awesome tweak of the year..and my cydia number : #3020926 ..thx guys

I only used this tweak for the photos in folders idea when I was on iOS 4. Now that iOS 5 already has that option, no need for me to get it again.

how is it that I transfer the created folders through usb? I've ssh'ed into device and can't find the folder I created using photalbums+.
