Funny thing is ATT could make a bundle having you pay to unlock your phone. I know I would pay about $50 for a permanent unlock. It would just be nice to know that there worst case scenario in updating would be not being able to downgrade. I don't really even NEED an unlock, but it is nice to know the option is there if/when needed.

They make a bundle by not unlocking. Anyone traveling with Their locked iPhone is getting raped with charges. Most likely more than $50 for their time spent there. Not to mention that keeping people off other carriers within the the states just makes sure that people actually pay them for use and over use. They are definitely making more by not unlocking.

i got iphone 4s.using H20 Wireless.paying only $60 a month.for everything.unlimited everything + $20 credit for international calls.If anyone knows any other carrier beats this.Please let me know.it works off AT&T networks.so you can even use AT&T 3g service.the only down side to it is this: MMS is not compatible...then again..who really cares much about this. I use another free software to send text and MMS if needed.AT&T iphone 4s.no need to unlock or anything like that.

This is same execution as using a gevey turbosim. So yeah this does work until rebooted, which mine hardly never does. If it does you just repeat the same process.

This is not the same as a gevey at all. The only thing that is similar is the dial 611 part (gevey is dial 112). The gevey exploit was patched with the 5.0 baseband.

*EDIT - Nvm... I just read all you have to do is reboot. The comments section is only showing the first comment when you click on the story from the home page. The only way I could see the rest of the comments is by going to the thread where this story was originally posted.

My mom has h2o $50 plan with 250mb data unlimited talk/text on her iPhone 4 and it's actually 2.5GB for $60 plan unlimited talk text .

They are unlimited actually. No CAPS etc. I used to have a Jailbroken iPhone 4 with WIFI HOT SPOT/Tethering n use it like CRAZY with no problems at all ;-) !! That's why I said its truly unlimited.
