Bulgarian Students Vote to Change School Name to 'Steve Jobs'

This is what the bronze statue outside of the school will be modeled after.
A Bulgarian school is about to change its name to Steve Jobs.
The school—currently named Vladimir Ilyich Lenin—is located in the town of Plodvid the second largest city in Bulgaria. The technical school specializing in electronics will celebrate its 50th anniversary soon and to commemorate the occasion the students want to change the name on the school door to someone else.
That someone else just happens to be Steve Jobs. In fact Jobs is ahead by a wide margin. Others in the school think they should pick a Bulgarian scientist. That makes sense. But, Vladimir Lenin is the father of communist Russia. Started the campaign of mass terror in 1918 and handed off all the horrible responsibilities of murdering his own people to Stalin. So in my mind any change is good, Bulgarian scientist or not.
Also, Steve jobs fits in with the theme of technical school dedicated to electronics. What other modern marvel of electronic innovation is more iconic than the iPhone? Hopefully Apple rewards the students with some free iDevice goodness if they do in fact decide to name their institution of learning "Steve Jobs."

Jobs trademarked his name. Given Apple's 50-something page intellectual agreement for employees, I believe that trademark is now Apple property...

I am a Bulgarian and the name of the city is Plovdiv. Please fix it. And I am also not sure if Apple will let them do this.

I believe there is such thing as honoring a person more than deserved. Proved from the biography, Steve Jobs was in fact a genius, but he was not a very kind-hearted man while at it...
