Completely unrelated, but since this article had the most comments, I figured I'd ask it here.Is anyone else having trouble getting the Mail.app icon to theme? I can understand the Music one because it no longer is called "iPod", but Mail I'm having trouble understanding. Does anyone have any solutions or is anyone also experiencing this problem?

Diddo.
People, people, people.... Please, the words you are all looking for are "keep up the good work." The Dev team works really hard for us to be able to use our iDevices to their full potential and make them more enjoyable. That is why we should all contribute when we use their codes. At least $1, which is a heck of a lot less if Apple were to be selling this as a software bundle.
THANK YOU DEV TEAM. I would suck your balls and gargle if I were a chick.... (Ok maybe I went too far. Lol)

Okay, here's another way of thinking about it.
ModMyI site moderators.
They do a pretty good job, most of the time, but get flaky and lazy now and then.
How about, if we actually PAID them to moderate, instead of volunteering their time and effort as they do now. D'ya think they'd actually do a better job? Or worse? Or the same?
Do amateur athletes (say, Olympics) really do better when they get paid sponsorships, and start playing for money?
Do pro athletes perform better when they land a record-breaking contract? (or do they slack off, and start behaving like jerks?)
How does the market explain these?

Do any of you people even understand how jail breaking is possible. You guys are saying the Dev team doesn't do good business
BINGO.Lightbulb! Jail breaking is not a business it's a hobby. If any of you people follow the team on twitter you would learn they don't just sit around all day trying to do one single task of untethering ios 5. Get a brain stem

I love the dev team I'm untethered cuz I didn't install Cydia. I only modded percentage, and gestures but the gesture option appears...but doesn't work? Why!!?

If you want to 'pay' developers Chronic are looking to raise money to go professional.
The iPhone Dev team do it for fun - if they started accepting money it would stop being fun and they would stop doing it.
I don't believe paying will improve anything - their are too many people involved and valuing individuals contributions is far more likely to lead to internal bickering. People paying will 'expect' results for their payments and be disappointed when they don't get them.
I believe the Dev Team's approach is by far the best and people will be very disappointed if they pay and don't get what they want - which isn't necessarily what is for the greater good.
Some people have accepted donations for work already done - I have no problem with that, but the number of people who donate is minuscule.
If people pay in advance I can only see less jailbreaks and more arguments. Only bad things can come of this IMHO.He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

@Confucious: Thank you, that is the most sense I have heard in a while. There is no doubt that the Dev Team is doing this solely for the fun of it- okay, maybe the like a few Jailbreak tweaks
. Really though, this is one of e few examples where money can't solve everything. The one thing I can't understand is that for a few years now, people actually act as though they are owed something by the Dev Team. Why is that, because they may have donated? A donation is something that one gives to another person or group because they like what they see, not because they expect to gain in the future by giving them the money. Don't people understand the difference between that and paying someone to provide a service, in this case providing a jailbreak for a future version of iOS? I don't know, maybe I am just confused because I am so sleepy and about to go to bed....
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

OK, I'm using redsnow 0.9.9b7 on i4s os5, turn it off, do the hold down power, then power + home, then home, and after that, all I get is "unexpected error" anyone know why? Searched the thread, may have overlooked it, but didn't see any mention of it. If anyone knows a solution for this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe I'm getting ahead of myelf here...does this JB even support the 4S?

Did you restore and setup as a new phone or did you're store abackup made with a previous iOS?
