Default iOS 5 Compatibility For A Ton of Tweaks Released

Well folks, the time has come. iOS 5 is on the verge of public release and now it's in the hands of the jailbreak developers to update and release their products for the upcoming iOS 5 users. There has been a few tweaks here and there that have been updated, however some that are more in the limelight include tweaks like PreferenceLoader, Activator, and packages of that nature.

Tonight happens to be a biggie, with Dustin Howett (@DHowett), Ryan Petrich (@rpetrich), and Aaron Ash (@aaronash), releasing updated versions of some of their applications for iOS 5. Here is the big long list of tweaks/applications that just got updated to support iOS 5:
    • PreferenceLoader
    • CyDelete
    • ActionMenu
    • Activator
    • DisplayOut
    • HapticPro
    • OverBoard
    • RetinaPad
    • Barrel

What else is there to say? Have fun!

UPDATE: To clear confusion, these tweaks have been released on the public BigBoss repository, not the beta one. SBSettings is compatible on iOS 5 however is not available on the public BigBoss repository. Thus, it is not fully compatible on iOS 5 like the above tweaks are since they are available on the public repository.

If it's in the list, it's been fully updated. So in the case of your question; no.

Now for SwitcherMod and my iPad will be all good again.
As it doesn't reboot I'm not really bothered with the teathered jailbreak but the iPhone will wait.

And when will Mobile Substrate be fixed? I'm always getting "Safe Mode" even when nothing is installed.
MS is the most unstable cydia app there is. I've had nothing but problems and it all points back to MS.
If I only install cydia apps that dont need MS then its all good and happy and stable. As soon as MS gets installed is when the problems start.

I just finished 2 backups. 1 on the PC and one in the icloud. Doesn't matter if it crashes now I have 2 backups.
Thats the only reason I stayed with IOS5 is for the icloud backup.

I'm wondering if when you delete an app then reinstall it will the iCloud download the data for it so you dont have to start from scratch again like it does when you reinstall it from iTunes?

I'm caught in the death-cycle as well. Not sure what's to blame, I know from this list I had CyDelete, ActionMenu, and Activator. I also had LockInfo update, and one other that I can't recall.

The SBSettings for iOS 5 is still in beta and has been out for a long time - full blown news of it just kind of happened within the last day or so.

    SBSettings for iOS. 5

No to mention - the list is in the article. I'm specifically talking about the ones I mentioned, not every single tweak or application that has been updated or is planning to.

There is a difference (please note):

The SBSettings for iOS 5 is on the BigBoss beta repo. All the tweaks in this article are updated on the regular repos (in this case, they are all BigBoss). Thus, SBSettings is not "fully" compatible on iOS 5. I realize that SBSettings can be used on iOS 5. I've been using it long before people wrote articles and realized that it was on the beta repo the entire time.

Praise the Devs! To each and every one of you who spend your time writing code and making apps for little or no profit... Its YOU that makes the iPhone great, NOT Apple!! From me to you, a million thanks!!

    Hello,

Anyone with rebooting loop after activator and action menu update should do:
Just try to connect with winscp from pc when rebooting ..it works...and go to:

Library/Mobilesubstrate/DynamicLibraries and delete all activator and action menu .dylib files and all activator and action menu .plist

    Reboot again and should work.
    Wait for proper update.

    Nicos
