The 4G that everyone is talking about is only 4G because they brand it as such. I was traveling through Iowa, Ohio and Pennsylvania this summer and got 5-8 mbps on AT&T 3G fairly regularly. Until 4G can do at least 10-20, I won't need it.

Does AT&T mention how they don't offer an Unlimited data plan on their cutesy wootsy little chart? Nope. Didn't think so.

You gotta be kidding me! No Surf and Talk for Sprint/Verizon!! Come on people, talk about a damn let down that puts everyone in a repeat situation yet again, but with Sprint now.Unlimited Data vs Surf & Talk...I should check the frequencies to see if this will finally work with Tmobile's 3G finally. Anyone confirm yet?

AT&T has 4G in 5 cities and 15 by the end of the year. Hopefully more to come soon. AT&T for me all the way. I love how carriers made fun of AT&T for years about "theres an app for that" and next thing you know there begging for the iPhone.

That's a matter of opinion. I have been with alltel, Vzw , Tmobile and now AT&T. So far AT&T blows em all out of the water. Basis for my facts, I'm a truck driver.

I remember when Tmobile got their "like 4G speeds". What a joke. I downloaded faster on 3G than on HSPA and I had a G2.

I'd rather have crappy service than to not be able to surf and talk at the same time. Plus, I get a discount on my AT&T bill.

If my wife gets the 4s will she be able to use her iPhone 4 otter box since no physical features changed?

That's crazy how you got up to 8Mbps on 3G when the iPhone 4 only supports up to 7.2Mbps.

    BTW, LTE on Verizon...25-35Mbps.
