Default Facebook Not At Apple Event - Likely To Hold A Future Release Event

In the utter anticipation and eagerness for Apple’s keynote before the event and then being left underwhelmed after (for many), many people seemed to overlook any information regarding Facebook. It was previously mentioned that Facebook was to make announcements today regarding the Facebook iPad app and Project “Spartan” but neither of them got a chance in the spotlight today.

It was revealed late last night that Facebook was told that they would not get a chance to be a part of today’s Apple event. This is nothing new though as many companies are told to be prepared to go on but get pulled off last second. What is odd though is the fact that a big company such as Facebook was passed over.
We expect that Facebook will be sending out invites to their own mobile-themed event sometime in the near future. At this point their HTML 5 mobile platform (aka “Spartan”) and the iPad app which was previously leaked are ready to go and it’s only a matter of time.

This whole situation is much like the Nuance/Siri issue during this year's WWDC, where it was previously established that Apple was working on delivering voice technology to the iPhone via their acquisitions but instead of displaying it at WWDC, we ended up seeing it today at Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” media event. If things turn out to be similar for Facebook's iPad app and project "Spartan" then we expect to hear further news about them sometime in the near future.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for Facebook’s next move so stay tuned!

So the revelation of the iPhone 5 being fictionous erased all thoughts of the Facebook app? Hmmm. Sounds like some good cover up to me. Some one is slacking over there.

I won't use any Facebook relative thing on my device.
