I'm gonna stick with my iPhone 4! Jus like how I sticked with my iPad 1! Come on apple! What so good about the 4s?! A little better camera? Big woop! Faster opening up apps by a couple of seconds? Big woop! What a FAIL! I'll wait for the iPhone 5...

Well I am 3GS and I won't be upgrading if it is Just 4S.
If they iPhone 5 out. Then we shall see.
And with iOS 5, cud be Downgrade to ios4.xxx??
What about the unlocked phones price?

I think that the 4S is a waste of an upgrade. Siri was the real star today but that's something android has had for a while.

Was there this much of an outcry when Apple released the 3GS...which was just a hardware upgrade from the 3G?

4G service isn't prevelant enough for Apple to spend the money making a 4G model. AT&T hopes to have 4G service in a whopping 15 cities by the end of 2011 (per their own web site). Sprint's and Verizon's is more prevelant, but still not exactly ubiquitous. When 4G is more readily available I'd expect AT&T to invest more money building a 4G compatible model.

I think the longer than normal wait just heightened our expectations and anything short of a 5" screen, 64 GB model with 4G service would be considered a let down.

Not worth the upgrade for me. Make a new contract and then by iPhone 5 maybe Im not going to be eligible. Noooo way Jose. If you are going to spend the night before the release at AT&T like for iPhone 4, you need help. I almost sell my iPhone 4 on eBay thinking about that iPhone 5. I feel sorry about the people that sold them already.

To all the people all pissy saying they messed up by not redesigning the phone are dumb. It was o so obvious. Did people get all pissed when the 3Gs came out? no. It was faster and better. But it looks exactly like a 3G. I personally LOVE the design of the iPhone 4 and am glad they kept it. It's got double the memory, and twice as fast. Plus a 64GB option. If you are a true iPhone fan, then you should be excited as ****. Not to mention Siri blows Google Voice's *** out of the water. No bigger screen? Boohoo. I don't want a small tablet as a phone. That better battery is freaking sweet as well. Mine dies way to fast. I'm stoked for the new phone, and I will definitely attempt to buy one. Even though i just bought my 4 in april...

This is my question too. If they AT LEAST doubled the memory to 1GB, I may consider upgrading from the 16gb 4 to the 32gb 4s, but if the memory is still at 512MB, I will probably pass.

Conspiracy theorists unite, what if they planned on an IP5, but due to set backs in development and QA that they simply had the 4S in reserve to allow for the bugs to be worked out? Meaning next Spring this is all happening again? Makes no sense that they would allow that much time to elapse between form factors to let this happen.

I've been an iPhone 4 owner since the release last year, and will be the owner of an iPhone 4S on launch too.

Personally I like the form factor and the shape of the 4 - and didn't want it to change. If they were making the screen bigger I was hoping the device wouldn't change size.

Now I'll have an extra 32gb I can fill with crap! I just hope iOS5 is JB-able!
