iPhone 5 Coming to Sprint According to New Radio Shack Inventory Screen
It looks like Sprint may be getting the iPhone 5 if the latest Radio Shack inventory screen is any indication. Rumors are flying fast and loose right now, with Apple’s iPhone 5 press conference quickly approaching.
It has long been rumored that Sprint will be getting the iPhone, but so far these rumors have never panned out. If this image is accurate, then the iPhone will soon be available on a third carrier in the US. This may be an indication that Apple is preparing to launch a new pre-paid iPhone model.
Judging from the information in the Radio Shack screen shot, Apple does not appear to be increasing the iPhone’s memory capacity this year. This is unfortunate because many users find 32GB of storage somewhat confining with such a wide array of content available for the device. Memory issues may become a thing of the past, however, when Apple releases iCloud next week, presumably along side the latest iPhone model.
Many users are still hoping that Apple will increase the iPhone’s maximum memory capacity to 64GB. The Radio Shack image may simply indicate the memory capacities that they are expecting to receive when the iPhone 5 is released. We’ll know more on Tuesday at 10am Pacific Time.
