Cydia Home Page Undergoes More Changes

Recently, ModMyi broke the news that Cydia added a new Featured Extensions and Tweaks page. This new area houses a comprehensive list of some of the most popular and useful applications and tweaks based upon category. The section can be found inside the Featured tab on the front page of Cydia.

However, after speaking with Britta, the woman behind all the awesome work, I discovered that there was much more that was changed on the Cydia home page. Here's what's new:
- The ancient "Upgrading to 4.0.2?" page has been updated and renamed to "Upgrading and Jailbreaking Help." The tab has all the respective information when it comes to upgrading and remaning jailbroken on respective firmwares
- The "Root Password How-To" has been updated and fixed
It's great to see that Cydia is continually evolving and updating all of its information and materials. Keep up the hard work Britta! Only time will tell what else Cydia and the team behind it has in store.

Haha, the "Upgrading to 4.0.2" page was well overdue, but now it's good!

I think they have done a really good job. Although it should have been done a long time ago...
Hopefully it's like tidying a messy room - you put it off and put it off but when you finally come around and clean it, it's then much easier to keep clean!

All they did is change the lay out.. lol. I'd rather have performance improvements and new features than just changing the lay out of a text or adding even more text to it.

I've always wondered how hard it is to find 5 minutes of time to update archaic messages on cydia like the 4.0.2 button? Even with an assistant, perhaps 10 months it would seem.

Definitely, there's never any satisfaction with people

Seriously though, people have lives and get busy, there are just things that don't get updated quickly but at least it has happened (even in its most minor form). I know I get busy and can't keep my stickies/guides updated even though it seems to be logical that I'd have 15 minutes out of a day to do it... it's "that easy" as people portray it to be bc they aren't the ones who have to do it!
