What can I say? I like to lurk

And you're absolutely right, it is rubbish... It's all speculation until Tim or Steve walks out onto that stage in Cupertino and tells us what we are getting next from apple.

The cell phone accessory kiosk in the mall I work in has iPhone 5 cases already that match the larger display thinner rounded back theory.

What is to keep me from just getting the Galaxy S II on Oct 2 and just keeping my existing iPhone 4? Apple is playing catch up at this point. The best thing that Apple has going for it is iOS and the App Store. If the next iPhone has the specs above on Oct 4th..I will use one of my 3 upgrades to get the Galaxy S II and wait for the next iPhone. Blasphemy, I know. However I am a Techie Not a FAN BOY right now Android has the better hardware.Last edited by reyg25atx; 09-28-2011 at 06:18 PM.

Thanks for the compliments guys - appreciate the feedback. As to join in on the discussion, although Android has the better hardware, I don't think the hardware alone is the reason people stick to the iPhone. From the people I know and from what I have seen (and I haven't conducted any research on this obviously), it's the ease of use, the iOS firmware, and the App Store. Compared to an Android phone, each of the previously mentioned reasons have several benefits over the Android platform.

I have a iPhone 4 and a galaxy s2. The s2 blows away the iPhone in terms of hardware. However after a few days using the samsung I found myself going back to my iPhone. iOS trumps android any day.
