New Leaked Images Show Purported iPhone 5 Parts

On Monday, several new photos alleged to be images of iPhone 5 parts surfaced online. One in particular (the one displayed above) comes from China's social media platform, Weibo. Jumping out at us, obviously, is the “A5" mark. But given how murky the marking appears, its authenticity is rightly being called into question. The board itself is asserted to be from a prototype of the next iPhone. The battery marking - “430 mAh” - similarly suggests the iPhone 5 will use a battery different from that which is presently housed in the iPhone 4.
Meanwhile, more images - which are also somewhat speculative - have emerged from iRepair India. The pics are said to be of parts originating from an "iPhone 4S" model.
According to the source of the image leak, the parts came from Shenzhen, China. To go with the pics are claims that there won't really be an "iPhone 5" this year - at least not in terms of what the forthcoming refreshed iPhone will be called. The next-gen model will likely be called the iPhone 4S or iPhone 4GS because, from a hardware perspective, it lacks too many new attributes to be called an iPhone 5.
The co-founder of iRepair India shared the image posted below with Apple Insider and revealed that he has been "servicing Apple's portable hardware for three years and has known this particular Chinese supplier for that duration." He says the source in question is credible and boasts of a long record of providing reliable information.

As we get closer to the launch of the iPhone 5 - or whatever it will ultimately be called - it's a safe assumption that we will be pelted with a barrage of leaked images of supposed next-gen iPhone parts, the overwhelming majority of which probably won't be authentic.

I highly doubt it will be called a "4GS".

The battery must be 1430mAh, 430mAh wouldn't last half a day with current technology.

Well I like how the iPhone 4's LCD display & front glass are fused together. My old 3GS always had small dirt in between the glass and LCD. It was most noticeable when using the phone outside under the sun. I hope the new i5 is fused as well.

it doesn't say 430mAh, the one is just cut off, 430 don't make any sense... and isn't that battery the same as the one in the current phone? lol. Apple is stupid if they're not going to use atleast a 1700mAh

This look not like original iPhone parts, see the "A5" mark, very blurry, it's fake.

Come on, we had this discussion over the release of the iphone 4. It IS the 4th Generation, and like the 3rd Generation (S) it could be called 4GS even without the 4G technology under the hood.
it would be great marketing, even if it could be construed as a little lie.
Then enter the stupid people. "why does my iphone 4GS not have the 4G in it?"
just my 2 centsunklbyl

Say what? The 2nd gen iPhone was the first one to have 3G capability. IMHO that was more deceiving because "3G" also sounds like "third generation" which it was not. The 3GS was the 3rd gen phone. iPhone 4's name hit the nail on the head since it is in fact the 4th generation iPhone, although it also led many people to incorrectly call it the iPhone 4G.
The next iPhone WILL be the 5th generation iPhone, whether they call it 4S or 5 or whatever.
