White “iPhone 4s” Appears in AT&T’s Internal System
Engadget is reporting that they’ve received a screenshot from a tipster that shows an AT&T inventory system with a new listing for an “iPhone 4s White.” Lately, there has been some debate in the media as to how Apple will update the latest iPhone model this season. The rumor mills are widely expecting Apple to release not one, but two new iPhone models in the coming weeks.
The leaked image is notable because, in the photo, all of the current iPhone configurations are already listed in the AT&T system. The iPhone 4 listed with an “s” could simply be a typo, or an overly optimistic inventory worker. Then again, maybe AT&T already knows that the iPhone 4s is about to be announced and they’re just getting their inventory system ready for the new model to drop.
Images of purported iPhone components are regularly leaked from Asia. Some of these components point to a more modest iPhone update. The media has dubbed this model “the iPhone 4S” and it is widely expected to be built around the same iPhone 4 case, but include the latest A5 processor. It is also expected to carry a lower price point than the current iPhone 4. Apple may choose to use this new model to break into the pre-paid cell phone market as well.
Other rumors point to an altogether new case design with evidence popping up from case manufacturers across Asia. This is the model that is expected to carry the iPhone 5 moniker. It is widely expected to include a radical new case design including a new 4-inch screen, A5 processor, 8-megapixel camera and possibly more. It is also expected to be the slimmest iPhone to date.
With October rapidly approaching, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Apple send out a few invitations to their annual September Special Event. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out if Apple is actually going to release two new iPhone models this year. I can’t wait to find out more.

Lame...that didn't even have Memory Specs like the others. Looks as if it was just typed in for S&G then someone took a picture.

Not buyin it...
Our devices still need to have Memory to store media when iCloud isn't available. It states in the iCloud disclaimer that we would have to DL the media ahead of time if WiFi/Carrier Service isn't accessible.
This looks like a fake 'input line' to me since it lacks that info...

Not news
This is not news worthy. Anyone can fabricate a picture like this. As a matter of fact, here is a picture I took of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 on the AT&T website.

Actually this screen shot might be legit. It has 16 Items under Apple.
2 x 3 iPad Models (note its 2x because of white/black options)
2 x 2 iPhone 4 Models (note its 2x because of white/black options)
1 x 1 iPhone 3GS Model
---------------------------------------- 11 - Total 5 Missing
2x 2 iPhone 4s Model (note its 2x because of white/black options)
1x1 iPhone 4 8gb model
---- 5 - Which makes it the 16

Yes, activation fees can be and are waived often. I would consider it good marketing. How much did you jave to pay for activation of a nokia phone? Nothing, because it works out of the box, and the account activation is really not too expensive.

Lmfao, how long is it going to take you guys to realize the photoshopper did that as a joke proving how easy it is to photoshop something. Being so quick to jump the guys throat at an "OMG FAKE!". I can picture you guys with baby bibs on drooling over the next news and rumors of the new iPhone, christ.

All I can say is that the new design for the rumored iPhone 5 (not 4S) has got my hopes up. If all we get is a 4s this year, I think this will be the first upgrade I pass on. (I tell myself this, but I will probably still get this damn thing on launch day, regardless)
