IMO the iphone 4 design will be dropped. the 4S/5 will be the tear dropped/shape with iPod style. Whatever that is (coming soon photo), its not the new iPhone.

Easy, just raise the price of the iPhone 5 to $300 on-contract.

And don't forget, the iPhone 5 is said to have a larger screen, and different form factor. The difference between a 3G[s] and the iPhone 4 was a better screen and different form factor.

Seeing how a new iPhone is a status-symbol in today's society, people will gladly spend the extra $100 to show off to their friends.
