iTunes 10.5 Beta 8, AppleTV Beta 6, and iWork for iOS Beta 3 Available for Developers
Apple today released a new line of beta updates for the following applications:
- iTunes 10.5
- AppleTV
- iWork for iOS
In regards to iTunes 10.5 Beta 8, not a ton of components were updated or in need of "fixing". The primary focus of the updates (for all the applications in question) was minor bug fixes and some performance enhancements. Now to beg the question: when will iOS 5 release? Will there be another iOS 5 beta release or is this the end "of the beginning?" From viewing the changelog and the recent news that has been posted in this regard, it is the general consensus that iOS 5 is on the verge of becoming public soon.
To download the beta releases for these applications, visit the Apple iOS Dev Center. You must be a registered developer in order to have access to these files.

iOS 5 Beta 7 is still really buggy. Apps crash a lot and freezes randomly. Otherwise it works great!

Installed iTunes 10.5 beta 8 works much better now. People with sync issues (fixed.)

Thats not an iOS issue. Thats an app issue. They are not compatable yet and probably wont be until (at least) the GM comes out. Originally Posted by J Sweeney
