Redsn0w 0.9.8b7b Released - Minor Update

Jailbreaking on the iOS 5 beta is done at your own risk. Note the consequences and possible issues you may run in to when jailbreaking and using the iOS 5 beta.
Earlier this morning, MuscleNerd (@MuscleNerd) informed us that the iPhone Dev-Team has updated redsn0w once again to change a few aspects and fix lingering issues. Although it seems that the releases are pretty simultaneous, it's good to note that they are still looking to fix issues and change redsn0w to make it better for whatever firmware is next up and running.

The update on the iPhone Dev-Team Blog gives us the information on the newly released version 0.9.8b7b:

- Old-bootrom iPhone 3GS owners (where 24kpwn exploit applies) now can untether jailbreak on firmwares 4.3.5 and lower, or iOS 5 beta 7. Owners can once again choose custom logos, and (or) verbose booting if they wish and are able to use ultrasn0w on 4.3.4 or 4.3.5 (if they have a compatible baseband)
- When jailbreaking on iOS 5 beta 7, you no longer need to point redsn0w at the beta 6 IPSW. You are now able to directly point to the beta 7 IPSW
- A few more minor fixes in regards to the Verizon iPhone jailbreak on 4.2.10 were fixed as well
Download the redsn0w files directly from here:
redsn0w 0.9.8b7b for Mac
redsn0w 0.9.8b7b for Windows
NOTE: This redsn0w release does not jailbreak the iPad 2.
