iOS 5 Concept Videos, Pleas Be Like This Someday
Jan-Michael Cart has previously produced a number videos showing concepts of features he'd like to implemented in iOS 5. Cart has released a slew of new videos, and Apple needs to pay attention.
Cart, who is majoring in Mass Media Arts at the University of Georgia, definitely has knack for producing concepts that are innovative and fit perfectly within the realm of Apple's iOS spirit.
The two features that I would love to see implemented in iOS 5 are "dynamic icons" and "app preview." In the video dynamic icons, when turned on, would allow developers to animate home screen icons according to the notifications being pushed by the app. The "app preview" feature would be activated by pinching to zoom, or double tapping between apps on the home screen. This would zoom in on the apps making them bigger and allowing them to display information and be interacted with much like widgets.
Very clever stuff, the rest of the videos are below.

Why can't Apple hire these guys instead? I'm sure they could've made iOS the way people would want it to be. I find hackers who make iOS better, idealist.

Why would apple ever implement that, it would be a clear imitation of android, plus it's not original

Well, technically Android is a direct imitation of Apple. While they did implement multi-tasking before Apple, the basis of their touch-based interface is a carbon copy of iOS. And this is why Apple has successfully won a preliminary injunction against the sale of any Samsung Galaxy phones in Europe starting in October.

The injunction is with Samsung not Google, it has nothing to do with Android.
Also anyone can get a preliminary injunction in Europe, if I wanted I could stop Apple from selling iPhones, I don't think you understand how the legal system works in the EU.
Also can we shut up about people coping each other, its pathetic, are you going to say Lockheed Martin copied BAE Systems on their plane designes?

In no way am I putting down the creators of these ideas. I could never make one of these so I give props to those that have the talent and ability to do this!
My only argument is these companies/individuals calling it an iOS 5 concept. Unless they have factual proof that these features WILL BE INCLUDED in the next iOS or next iDevice, then these need to be labeled something like:
'iOS XX' or 'iOS ?' concept videos
instead of iOS 5, iOS 6, etc. It gives readers false hope in thinking that these awesome tweaks 'might' be coming in the next update.
Idk, just my two cents....

Because Apple are stupid. Easy as that.
They make the iPhone the way they want NOT the way the people want.
When the jailbreak app becomes extremely popular then Apple steal it and make it part of the iOS.
The only way to get these features part of the iOS is for someone to make a jailbreak app of it then Apple will eventually steal it and add it.
Apple cant think for themselves thats why they dont add any original features or features the people want. They make it the way they want and they dont care about the people.
As I always say in my signature, Apple want clones not customers. Thats why they dont do anything we want.Apple wants clones instead of customers.

Asking crapple to do this, it like asking crapple for a free ipod/iphone/ipad? NEVER gonna happen. Hope the jailbreak community can do it is a more of a reality, then crapple free gifts? Hope those cracker working under crapple can do this instead of finding way to block jailbreak. "jailbreak is legit and legal"... CRAPPLE has no brains in their skull$ but $$$...

Basically tiny widgets (a la android). Yes, I'd love that.
