Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 6 And Other Beta Updates

Using and installing the iOS 5 beta firmware is done at your own risk. Note that the beta is intended for developers only. Don't pirate Apple software and be aware of the risks and consequences of testing and using the iOS 5 beta.
Once again, Apple has released another beta update to iOS 5 plus all of its enterprise applications. The list of all the applications posted with updates are below:
- Xcode 4.2 Developer Preview 6
- iOS 5 beta 6
- iTunes 10.5 beta 6
- Apple TV Software beta 5
- iWork for iOS beta 2
If you're a registered developer with the Apple Developer Center, you have access to download all these software updates. After quickly reviewing the release notes, it would seem that iOS 5 beta 6 doesn't have much of anything new. Just simply bug fixes and other support-related issues.

As said in the above picture, iOS 5 beta 6 can be downloaded over-the-air just like the previous beta updates. To do OTA, just simply go from Settings to:
General > Software UpdateNote: If you're on a jailbroken device, you will be unable to download OTA unless you revert/restore to a stock firmware. After restoring, you can choose to use the standard IPSW file or use OTA.
Remember: Backup your device(s) on iTunes 10.5 beta 5 or iCloud prior to updating to iOS 5 beta 6. Otherwise, you will be unable to do so due to compatibility issues between your device and the running version of iTunes on your computer.
If you decide to update via the IPSW file instead, you can download the iOS 5 beta 6 file along with the other beta applications directly from the Apple iOS Developer Center.
For jailbroken users: Redsn0w or sn0wbreeze has not been updated or said to support iOS 5 beta 6. If you wish to stay jailbroken on the iOS 5 beta, do not update at this time.

two days late, but I'm still happy. b5 had a lot of problems introduced to iPod.app so this better fix at least some of those

This seems to be a very stable build and a lot of bugs seemed to have been ironed out.
In IOS 5 beta 5 I had the following issues:-
Really, really heavy battery drain
Messages kept re-appearing when I deleted them (constant loop)
Weather app never showed my home town
I've had IOS 5 beta 6 installed for over an hour now and none of the issues I had before have appeared.
Fingers crossed that this is a good build
