Did they also figure out that the rest of the world is under the delusion that LTE, HSPA+, and WIMAX are actually 4G?

No where in the name is the iPhone 4 called the iPhone 4G, it's just iPhone 4. Apple has never referred to the iPhone 4 as the iPhone 4G.

Most people here in the UK dont care what name the networks use, they just want to know how fast it will download. To be fair to the networks here, they are quite transparant in their packaging and always state the max speed over their network (HSDPA is very very fast),as a side note,we are very lucky here in the UK as most of our networks use towers on a shared basis (data roaming) and we get good constant conections over most of the country.

It's called iPhone 4 not 4G. And is @ that much easier than "at"? English grammar is dead in America...
I wonder how many people here were in the 34% margin until they read this post and now are laughing to make themselves feel better about being "less informed"? I don't call them dumb, the average iPhone user doesn't care about how their phone works, just that it does.

You're wrong. Show me Apple documentation that says iPhone 4G. You won't find it. It's called the iPhone 4 because it's the 4th version of the iPhone. No G anywhere in sight.
Admittedly, this breaks the 3G trend that the iPhone had been on, which is confusing in it's own right. But people need to be more aware of what they read. How hard is it to understand it's not a freaking iPhone 4G?!

No apple iPhone users just want to be in the front of the pack I know my iPhone 4 isn't on a 4g network nor can the phone be a 4g phone. But it is an iPhone 4 so until 4g is the official 3G and 3G is the official edge know one really has 4g. My buddy has an HTC 4g phone my iPad still blows his 4g out the water iPad 2 on AT&T then he shut up about smartphones and tablets he still has is HTC but now owns an iPad 2 and was asking me if I could put him on my AT&T family plan so he could get an iphone4 32gb for $300 like I did.

This study supports my belief that apple customers are the absolute dumbest of all tech customers.
