Jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 3 With redsn0w

MuscleNerd (@MuscleNerd) just posted a message on Twitter saying that the redsn0w beta version for iOS 5 can still jailbreak iOS 5 beta 3. The only requirement is that you point to the beta 1 IPSW (so when selecting the IPSW file, it must be beta 1).

To download redsn0w, use the following links:
Please remember: jailbreaking with redsn0w requires devices that do not need JailbreakMe (i.e. iPad 2). You are unable to jailbreak the iPad 2 on iOS 5 with redsn0w (JailbreakMe only supports 4.3.3.). Be wary also as it is still a tethered jailbreak.
DISCLAIMER: After toying around with beta 3 for a bit, I have discovered that while jailbroken, none of my AppStore applications work. They crash and never open. Upgrade / Jailbreak at your own risk

For clarification purposes: I have myself jailbroken iOS 5 beta 3 with my device. It works just fine:
iPhone 4 32 GB GSM now on iOS 5 beta 3.

Hey guys. I been having an issue since beta 1. After restoring i try to load my backup and it seems fine and says all the apps loaded, etc. For some reason when it is done i have a ton of apps with a blue bar halfway across. These apps are not completely installing. i basically have to delete them and then pull them down from the cloud. It's happening to like 40+ apps and it would take forever to pull them all down. Any idea what is wrong with my phone. iPhone 4 GSM on ios5 beta 3

Could be Mobile substrate (or one of its dependancies) as the culprit for app store apps not opening I believe. As soon as I uninstalled it and rebooted my apps opened fine again. Then again they may just be working because I didn't boot tethered this particular time.
EDIT: Seems to be Sandbox issues.Last edited by Simon; 07-11-2011 at 09:32 PM.

Rel... that happens when i sync from iTunes, not from the cloud. I don't know what the deal is. iTunes says it synced fine but the apps are not all loading.

I'm just going to be smart and wait till the fall when it launches completely.
