SpringBoard Invaders : Space Invaders Inspired Game

It's not often I mention very many games that come from Cydia, but I got a kick out of this one. Velocity Apps has created an app for your jailbroken phone called Springboard Invaders, essentially turning your SpringBoard and icons into an arcade game inspired by Space Invaders.

Battle against your icons as they fall down the screen, using an classic styled shooter. Utilize the accelerometer to maneuver from your invader/icon, and shoot down your enemies. You'll get five lives per game, use them wisely.

I spoke with the developers and they have informed me that an update has been issued to make the game compatible with your iPad as well. There is currently an issue with Wraparound, and they have a fix coming shortly for compatibility. They are also working on a few more games such as BlockBreaker, and other arcade style games.
