so just sync before updating...
i dont know, but i installed iTunes before doing anything, then i backed up my phone on the new iTunes (while running iOS5b1)
and NO ERRORS
the only error i had was trying to use update instead of Restore...
now im running iOS5b2 with DreamBoard and Everything

Ok so what's the best way to get rid of iTunes error 3194? I'm on beta 2 iTunes and beta 1 iPhone

I sync'd yesterday so that backup is fine with me.

Make sure ur not syncing with cydia
If u have tiny umbrella open it and select the advanced tab
Then uncheck sync with cydia or something like that
Click apply and restart iTunes after closing tiny umbrella

That was it! All thanks to tiny umbrella and pathkiller. It was forcing it even though I had deleted the line out of the host file. Thanks so much!!! Phone is currently restoring to beta 2. Woo hoo no more bugs(more like not as many bugs)! Phew... finally

They mesh between they Alerts and the new pop ups

I'm getting no notifications on lockscreen. When I unlock my phone all the sudden I get a flood of top notifications.

I had a dev account for the 3.0 I think it was. I gave away all kinds of spots on mine, those people probably got pissed when my dev account ended if they were on a beta and still had the same phones lol.

No, I'm talking about the update to 5.0b2. When I go to software update it tells me the network is too slow. Even though I'm on quite fast WiFi.

I have no such issue on my ipad or my iphone on iOS 5b2. Are you 100% positive you are on iOS 5b2?

I have been to best buy 3 times and they keep giveing me scratched discs so right now im still on 10.5.8? I am already running 5.0b1

I'm running 10.6.7 (Hackintosh) and it let me install iOS 5 Beta 2. I would update to 10.6.8 but no legacy kernel yet lol.
