The mock-up graphic shows a 3G logo ont he screen with a T-Mobile logo. iPhones can't connect to T-Mobile's 3G frequency.

iPhone, 3g, 3gs, 4, and if it's not released for t-mobile, the 5 (or 4s) as well. I have mine as well as my kids on iPhones with t-mobile. I've also unlocked dozens for my friends, and for others that wanted to use the iPhone on t-mobile. Sure, the internet speed sucks, but it does work if you really need it. And the cellular reception for t-mobile in my area is way better than at&t.

Been with T-Mobile on iPhone 4, for about a year and i have no complaints. i dont really miss the 3G service from AT&T cause i really wasn't that fast. and i have Wi-Fi in my house and @ work, plus im able to get free wifi throughout the city from my cable company.

Any time I have needed to contact TMo for customer service, they have been outstanding; that's why I continue to stay with them and won't defect to AT&T. As the OP mentioned, we don't get 3G speed with an unlocked iPhone right now but hopefully someday. I hope AT&T doesn't ruin their customer service once they acquire them.

I've been unlocked on T-Mobile.
Since day 1.
(no ATT service at my house is the main reason)
Dont enjoy jumping through the hoops.
And keeping up with all the update ****.
But I love the iphone.
And will gladly find a way to keep it in my pocket.

How in the world do they know how many iPhones are on TMobile? The day I called for help with another phone they had a fit because they could not tell what type of phone I have. Also when you go into my account on T-Mobile where it shows phone type it says phone type unknown. Just wondering where they get this number from.

T-mobile for the win! Except for the fact that we don't get 3g... but at least it costs less.

I was also one of the T-Moile iPhone users, but recently jumped ship and joined the AT&T gang with an Iphone4. I was using a 2G iPhone and was tired of running on Edge and slow performance of the older iPhone. So far so good.

T-Mobile edge speed is good enough for my iPhone, mainly use wifi @ home & office. Only pay $5.99 for unlimited edge T-Zones.
