Sears Now Selling Odd iPhone Android Knock-Offs

It's an iPhone? No. It's an Android? No. It's an... iDroid? No... it's an iPhone and Android quasi-clone knock-off that somehow turned up on the Sears website. Of course, there's nothing new or innovative about cloned iPhones out of China that happen to run Android. This just happens to be the first one we've spotted that's available through Sears (via Factory Direct). And for $264, it can be yours too.
The smartphone impersonator in question is simply called the "new 3.5inch Capacitive Multi-touch screen+Android 2.2OS+dual sim cards+wifi+TV phones, H2000 Android 2.2 smart phone." What makes this cloned smartphone newsworthy, I suppose, is the fact that Sears is selling it. These types of products are clearly no longer limited to malware-plagued websites and the inside pockets of a street vendor's trenchcoat or vehicle trunk.
From the looks of it, Sears is apparently getting into a new facet of hardware - the copyright-infringing smartphone business. Then again, it remains to be seen just how long Sears will continue to offer this product - especially since Apple probably won't take kindly to a knock-off iPhone being sold through a gigantic US retailer.
Strangely enough, the newest imitator on the block sports enough contemporary must-have features to make it a highly marketable smartphone. So far, there are no product reviews to peruse. But given that the device serves up a 3.5″ captive multitouch screen, dual SIM cards, and Android 2.2, it's a safe assumption that some folks will, indeed, purchase this device.

Another good reason for Sears.com to stop listing items being sold by other vendors. I personally don't like it because when I go to Sears.com I want to see things I can buy at Sears preferably, or at least through Sears.
Because people see these items on the Sears website they figure Sears is selling it or has something to do with it, when in reality it's some other seller simply listed on the Sears website.

In his defense this is a site dedicated to the news, JB and pretty much everything Apple. So.... What do you expect from most the people on this site? Most are fans of iDevices with the exception of a few Trolls that come here to slam, argue and call people fan boys... hmmmm.. Get off the high horse and just enjoy the articles. Wanna offer something better? Then by all means create something innovative and start your own business. :scratched:Last edited by kuhndsn; 06-16-2011 at 03:58 PM.

It's not a fake site. Sears let's people sell crap through their site. I can add items for sale on the sears.com site. It's a stupid addition that is unnecessary as most people get confused. This thread clearly proves that point.
