The highly acclaimed application by CocoaNuts (@cocoanutsapps), Celeste Bluetooth File Transfer, is now available on Cydia on the new 1.0 version. For those who don't know what Celeste is, it is an application that allows the transfer of photos and files between iDevices, other mobile phones, and even Mac/PC using Bluetooth. Apple has not implemented anything of this nature yet so it is a one of a kind feature and application.

This release is monumental because it fixes tons of bug/stability fixes and adds new features that users have been wanting for the last couple of months. Some of the new features include:

• Tons of bug/stability fixes
• Preferences
• Send files with unicode names

One important note to consider from Matthias Ringwald (@mringwal), a developer with CocoaNut:

The iPod send doesn't work right now but should be fixed soon (not in months, but much sooner). Also, sending songs is still broken in 4.3 so please be patient.

Celeste is compatible on the following devices running firmware 4.2 or later (NOT compatible with iOS 5):

• iPod Touch
• iPhone 3G
• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 4
• iPad (not iPad 2)

You don't need to pay if you don't want to use, this is a tool that all other phones have, but all the others phone are not iPhones, if they were iPhones they would not have bluetooth file transfers, and if someone who is not related with the maker of the phone wrote the program and you still wanted to use this, you should write the program yourself or pay for the work of another person

You're paying for a much more sophisticated Bluetooth file transfer though. Not to mention the amount of time, framework, and coding to write something like this is horrendous. Well worth it.

Just updated, this is an incredible and long overdue fix. Just transferred an Excel sheet from my MacBook at a blazing speed, no interruptions in transfers. Just aching to test it on a PC now, would be great if I could use it at work. I know CocoanutApps & Co have been busy fixing Celeste but they need to improve on their customer relations though , keep us informed goddammit !!! Anyway Celeste is absolutely a great tool and well worth the money for anyone using iPhone

Lots of us paid $9.99 for a beta release that didn't work.
I've never paid to beta test before but didn't realise I was. Hopefully this 1.0 release might actually work.

Hey !!! Gremlin not working on my iphone ... After recieving a song a pop-up message appears :failed to import var/mobile/recieved____.mp3.. (i have update to versiobn 1.0-73 and re-installed it couple of times also tried with many devices but songs are not porting to my ipod.app ) HELP Plzz..

Yep!! But u cant transfer files to other phones over bluetooth (other than iphone )! Thats why i have purchased this tweek !! But it has lots of bugs which makes me dissapoint !! Hope cocoanuts fixesem soon !
