MobileNotifier Hits 230,000 Downloads

Peter Hajas, creator of MobileNotifier recently tweeted a statistic saying that MobileNotifier has hit over 230,000 downloads.



For only being on Cydia for a short period of time (one year +), this is an amazing figure. MobileNotifier is a notification enhancement which makes notification checking and viewing much easier. It runs smooth within the interface and is quite a remarkable addition. It is currently on beta 4 and has some amazing features upcoming. A recent exclusive interview with Peter on ModMyi gave an inside look on beta 4 and the features to come. Also it gave an announcement about Peter's other project, Widge, being released to the public.

One of the prominent features that is soon to come to MobileNotifier is Quick Reply for the SMS client. Upon talking with Peter on AIM earlier today, he mentioned that he is currently working on the Quick Reply implementation and that it's working thus far. It's an internal Quick Reply and will work directly with the native SMS client.

This is a sure sign that an update to MobileNotifier with this feature is soon to come. Be on the lookout for an update for MobileNotifier soon but remember; be patient and cheer not jeer!

it doesn't surprise me, MobileNotifier is one of the tweaks a recommend to every person I know that has a jailbroken iDevice

im not sure but maybe its just me i have a problem with the latest update. i disabled mobilenotifier on my lockscreen but it keeps showing up. should i simply uninstall and reinstall it ? has anyone else had this problem with it
