Leaked iPhone 5G/4S Camera: More Evidence New iPhone Flash and Camera To Divorce

The leaks continue. Apple.pro posted pictures they obtained of both the forward-facing, and rear-facing cameras on the next iPhone 5G or 4S or whatever. Apple.pro included a photoshopped mock-up (pictured above) of what the divorced components would look like.

The leaked photos support rumors, and reports that the next generation iPhone will separate the flash, and camera components on the rear of the device. A leaked case photo, reported earlier today, started the speculation, and these photos seem to be more confirmation of the new flash placement.

Apple.pro has been the source of numerous leaks. They were the first to post pictures of the minature touch-screen that eventually found it's way into the iPod Nano's current generation, and broke photos that suggested Apple would once again add a camera to the Nano in its next iteration. So there is some credibility behind their findings.

The photos were reportedly submitted by a "Steven" from California, and accompanied by the comment that he would soon have "one more thing" to share about the new iPhone. If we cross our fingers and say "Steve Jobs" eight times in the mirror, in a dark bathroom, I hear it'll make it a blockbuster of a leak.

Or Steve Jobs appears, and makes you an egg salad sandwich.

Flash placement isn't really the type of leak that I'm used to seeing. However, any news released before Steve & Co. Announce it is nice to see/hear.

if you look at that flash position it makes sense that they would just let the flash shine through on both sides, and now you have flash for your front facing camera, something the iphone 4 could have had.. but then there would be no reason to buy the iphone 5

Can some1 pls explain to me what benefit this would have, moving the flash? Would it make any diff to photo quality or is this just so that there might be a front facing flash?
