Who uses the (crappy) flash on their iPhone4 anyway?

Good that they fix the placement though..

any flash is better than no flash. thats what my 3GS is lacking for sure. I think i will upgrade to whatever the next model iPhone is. Even if it is an iPhone 4S revamped. I am good with that, i cannot wait a another full year for a new phone.

As those stated above......I also use my flash on my iPhone for a flashlight. iHandy flashlight is a free app that uses the flash as a flashlight. It's very helpful if you're outside in the dark. I've used it at least 10 times and it was /very/ useful.
Another thing is....I have the clear Belkin case, and with the flash right next to the lens, it made my pics look like the one above due to the glare. So, I think it's a good move.

Ah, I love to use the flash as a flashlight too (itorch app), but never as a flashlight when taking pictures.

I noticed that a lot of third party cases caused that to happen as well, because they didn't give the flash enough space to shine correctly. Problem is that the flash requires a lot of space. That may be a small part of the reason that Apple's cases left the entire back exposed, as well as part of the reason they actually decided to make a case in the first place this time.

When is apple going to make the apple on the back of the phone glow like the Macbooks? Come on APPLE! You can do it! They could make it a notification LED. Flash when a text comes in, flash when the phone is ringing.
It would be Magical and Revolutionary
