This might actually be the first iPhone model I skip. I never run low on ram and there's no lag to speak of. The 5MP camera takes amazing pictures IMO and the screen resolution is perfect.

I'm about 99% sure that only a 4G LTE iPhone would make me upgrade.

Is it just me or is the source article just another "educated guess" by a big publicaiton writer? What's the difference between an "industry check" and any other unofficial (non-Apple) source, rumor, tipster, etc.?

No 4G LTE for sure because apple is not going to use 2 radio chips similar to HTC or others. 2 Radio chips eat battery like no tomorrow.

Does your city even support LTE at the moment? I think it's only in about a dozen major cities at this time. It won't happen until LTE has mass coverage.

This phone isn't out "at the moment". There are FAR more than a dozen major cities covered now. By the time the phone is released well over 1/2 of America will have 4G and 3 months after it's release 75% will be covered. I think they are going to take a big hit for not releasing a 4G phone by the end of 2011.

This will be a decent upgrade for us 3GS users. Been drooling over the iPhone 4 anyways. It will be time i think. I am getting bored with 3GS, i want a flash on my camera and a retina display!

I'm still standing by the iPhone coming in June. It's doesn't make sense for apple to change it's release schedules. If they do change the release the world will seem all wrong

I probably won't preorder but I'll have one right around launch tho. See with the addition of t-mobile now brings Me to think about selling the 2 i4s I have nib on 4.0 and the numerous 3Gs and 3GSs unlocked ive been holding out on selling.
