Untethered Verizon iPhone Jailbreak for Windows, Thanks Snowbreeze

Hacker iH8sn0w has released an update to Sn0breeze that finally brings untethered jailbreaking support to Verizon iPhone 4 owners. Well, Windows users anyway.
Windows Verizon iPhone users will finally have the luxury of untethered jailbreak access to Cydia and all the other spoils jailbreaking brings. The untether exploit was released rather quickly for Verizon Mac users after the 4.3.2 update, this wasn't so for their windows counterparts.
Installing Sn0wbreeze corrects this injustice, but takes a little work. You'll want to follow this handy guide compiled by Redmond Pie and make sure you have iOS 4.2.7 installed (a quick google search should take care of that).
Snowbreeze will work with a plethora of iDevices including: iPad, iPhone 3G and 3GS, iPhone 4, third and fourth generation iPod touches and Apple TV 2. Mac users are still stuck with a tethered jailbreak. Woe is me.

Looks like 4.3.2 to me. just a guess though

I have already used this multiple times on 3GS, and one 4, and the only option i have not found is the ability to install the ipad baseband.
I want to do my ipad, as i am on 3.2.1 and want the graviboard on it. has to be 4.0 or better. I will let you know what the results are. I am hesitant, as i want the progress of all my kids games to be saved. everytime we did an update on the iphones, everything was gone, (game money and progress) and they had to start over. pissed them off pretty bad.
It says that it will not update the baseband, and this is cool, as you can retain your unlock if needed, and still be on the new firmware. the website gives you the needed firmware, no point going to google.
Great tool, and easy to use!Last edited by unklbyl; 05-03-2011 at 04:33 AM. Reason: misspelled 3.2.1

None for Mac? I disagree. I have a windows installation on both my macs, can either boot to them, or use Parallels. I find it handy to have windows for that 0.01% of software that I use that requires windows.

I used the tweak to turn my tethered jailbreak into an untethered jailbreak.
I've heard so many people saying not to trust his software, but it works great. And 0 hiccups.
FTW - This jailbreak, is for 4.2.7. For windows users with a Verizon iPhone4.

Just checkin.....You don't mean for the Verizon iPhone, do you? CDMA phones aren't locked. Unlike popular belief, GSM phones can be a bit more restricted than CDMA ones. The only restriction on them is other carriers' resistance to activating them on their network due to policies. Well that, and the MSL code to reprogram it to a willing carrier. And this is a Verizon phone, so that code is six zeros.... There, phone unlocked.

Wtf?
I've BEEN untethered on my Verizon 4 for a couple months, on 4.2.6 via GreenPois0n, on Windows. Why is this untether any different? Seems more difficult than GreenPois0n also.

I write Mac only tutorials for the iPhone and own every model. My iPhones run on the following SIMs/networks: AT&T, GoPhone, H2O, O2, SimpleMobile, T-Mobile and Verizon.
