Banana TV Now Includes AirTunes Support

Last week popular iOS and Mac developer Erica Sadun let us know she'd packaged iOS-to-Mac audio streaming via the AirTunes protocol. She called her beta Banana Tunes, after her popular Mac software Banana TV.
She's just published an update to the Banana TV software (a Mac application which runs $7.99, and does NOT require a jailbroken device) which integrates this Banana Tunes beta (after a week or so of heavy testing, and stability improved to release status). You can now stream to your Mac just like it's an AirTunes destination, as well as still of course being able to stream to your Mac (with Banana TV installed) as an AirPlay destination.
This is useful for showing friends songs through their computer speakers rather than your iPhone, parties, presentations with audio content, etc.
Check it out now!

i don't see the point of streaming to a mac when you can use the remote app to control your itunes library on your mac, which should be the same library you have on your phone? or maybe i' missing something?

I updated and the audio does not work. Purchased AirServer for Mac which worked brilliantly.

Mac has no Rhapsody App, so better than streaming through the web version, load up the Rhapsody app on your iPhone, stream through your Mac, plays through your surround sound speakers and control the app anywhere in your home is my reasoning for this. No more running back to the computer to change to a certain track. All done on my device.

The audio streaming doesn't even work properly... and Banana TV is way overpriced! Stop being so greedy, Erica. I'm glad there are other Mac apps out there that work better and cost less.
