Apple Poised to Release iOS 4.3.3 to Fix Location Tracking Issues

Apple is poised to release yet another iOS update, this one aimed almost exclusively at removing any vestiges of concern related to the recent iOS user-tracking scandal that made international headlines.
Late last week, Apple said that providing mobile users with fast and accurate location information while preserving their security and privacy "has raised some very complex technical issues which are hard to communicate in a soundbite." Instead, they will be addressed by iOS 4.3.3.
On Monday, the early build of iOS 4.3.3 was obtained by Boy Genius Report, which says the update will formally roll out in as little as two weeks, if not sooner. Once installed, the iOS 4 update will cease to back up the location database file to iTunes when a user syncs their iPhone or iPad.
In addition, Apple will dramatically scale back on the size of the file and equally slash the length of time that location data is maintained. It will, in fact, fully delete the database file when Location Services are turned off on their device.
Although few other details about the iOS update are known at this time, iOS 4.3.3 will deliver battery life improvements and a few iPod bug fixes.

Then this update will have a bug the 4.3.4 will have a bug then 4.3.5.....etc etc blah blah Apple FkOff with these sh_itty updates, at least add something worthwhile like better multitasking or better sounds or features, then bang out an update people may actually want to update to, all is doing is making more work for themselves and pi_ssing off us with pointless updates...APPLE get a grip, billion dollar company and the jailbreak community are laughing at you,we have out smarted your empty IOS and completely revamped every idevice out there to be awesome........think on.

It is Apples job to update "security issues" which is what a jb is! I love my jailbroken iPhone 4 don't get me wrong. For those of you who don't like the updates, go to ***-droid! Then you can get only one update a year (on select devices, of course) a crappy ui, and app add-ons months after they're available for iOS! My standing on updates is a love-hate type of thing. I love the fact that updates improve things, and hate that they F with my jailbreak! However, the updates push innovation out of the jb community!

4.2.1 is working just fine for me. No intentions to update until 5.0 comes out.

We the jailbreak community have a solution already, apple is late get untrackerd from Cydia and ignore the update till IOS 5 roll out,but if it really does bring battery improvement without patching jb exploit why not we will go for it,even if they patch they will definitely leave a hole for us,apple even jb their iPhones that's why they copy the Tweaks

Damit why do we have to spend an hour proforming updates for this phone!!! First backup, then download 200mb+ update, then update phone and finally restore the phone again. This is the most advanced phone with the best mobile os, why can't apple release a small update APP!!? Download the App from the AppStore and patch a quick fix with it. Duh!

I read an article that Osama's compound didn't have phones or the internet. I wonder if he was tethering his iPhone to stay in contact with al-Qaeda and it wasn't the SEAL Team Six that got him but an even more secret and highly trained at&t hit squad that tracked him down for tethering...

I'm staying with 4.3.1, makes no sense to keep updating for these small trivial updates then waiting a week or so for redsn0w or whatever else to be updated just to jb again and redo all the sources and packages I've added....no thanx you can track me all you like lol
