*EXCLUSIVE* ATT Internal Memo, White iPhone CSP - On Sale Tomorrow

We have an exclusive leaked copy of the AT&T customer service protocol for tomorrow's white iPhone 4 launch.
The document contains a list of "Critical Must Knows/Dos for Local Dealer Locations." The highlight of all this confidential information is the fact current iPhone 4 users still under the 30 day BRE policy can exchange their current black iPhone 4 for a brand new white one. The exchanged device must be "in like-new condition with no visible damage." Of course any restocking fees apply.
The white iPhone 4 will retain the same price points as its black bretheren ($199 and $299 for new activations, $449 and $549 for early upgrade and finally $649 and $749 for no-commitment purchases).
Other notables include:- Customers are not allowed to holde spaces in line for any additional customers
- Newly arriving customer should move to the end of the line (duh?)
- Determine the number of customers in line for white iPhone 4 and coordinate this with the available invetory on hand If there are more people in line than available inventory, infrom customers of the following:
And yes none of that is a typo. Apparently internal AT&T documents are written by the "Love You Long Time" hooker from Full Metal Jacket. More infuriating though is the fact AT&T wont tell you that you, the 20th person in line, are two people removed from getting one of the 18 white iPhones on hand. The least they could do is notify customers in line that wont be able to get one of said fact so they can go about their day. However, they would rather laugh at your disappointment after you've waited in line for hours suffering from white iPhone blue balls.Due to the unprecedented demand for White iPhone 4, our inventory is running low. I cannot guarantee there will be product available

Hey wait a minute....waaaait a minute.
I thought the upgrade price was the only price that went up by $50. Why is the No-Commitment pricing $50 higher as well? That doesn't make any sense.....isn't the retail $599 and $699 for these phones from Apple?

It doesn't seem to me that they are informing employees to make customers wait in line only to find out there is no white iPhone 4's left in stock.. It looks like they are counting the line and inventory to try to help people out so they don't waste their time.... Although buying an iPhone 4 right before the iPhone 5 will be announced in summer seems like a waste of someones time too.

"AT&T Proprietary & Confidential. Not for use or disclosure outside the AT&T companies except under written agreement"
my question is who signed this off to be used outside of AT&T? xD

I waited for the white one but finally gave up in Jan and just grabbed one.
Ahh well. Hopefully now they have the "science" of coloring figured out with the new design they will have white ones ready for iPhone 5 launch.

Still waiting for the iPhone 5. Pfft, different colors - c'mon. They should have figured that out 9 months ago.

We have to remember "we" at modmyi are not the target target of sale in the months before summer, the truth is this is probably a sales trick for apple to sell more in a time numbers usually drop the average person in the market for anew phone dont do research and only see a new iphone and go upgrade.
Yeah, you'll be the coolest person in the room when you pull one out and show it around, but that gets old fast when three other people have them and one person somehow has one that glows in the dark.

It should read "For Sale" not "On Sale". The prices are full prices.

Yeah, tactically this makes a lot of sense. However, Apple really did try to release a white iPhone at launch, but due to manufacturing defects/ incompetence, they had to hold off.
I guess life just gave Apple some lemons, and instead of burning our house down with the lemons, they decided to turn those lemons into apples. Wait...

$749? Wow. I checked on apple.com and the no commitment price is $699.
I want the white one but I'm not spending that much for a phone. I'll stick with the black one and buy a white iPad 2 w/ 3G.I Take Three L's To The Head...Love, Live, Life then I'm Dead
