TweetDeck 2.0 (Another Twitter App)

The Twittertariats over at TweetDeck have released version 2.0 of their Twitter app. The app has been rebuilt from the ground up keeping in mind "a series of guiding principles" they identified from the original app according to the developers.
There are a bevy of new and improved features, most notably the ability to create fully customizable columns with infinite scroll lists. Your twittering juices should b salivating now.
A revamped UI still looks a little blah despite all the PR hyped up descriptions of being "beautiful" and "far more sexy." They have an odd obsession with Batman references. It's even embodied in the black, grey and yellow color scheme of the app itself. Maybe all apps should model themselves after super heroes and comic book personalities. I'd love a Rorschach twitter app. Every post would be converted into a wildly conspiratorial claim and the UI would be a constantly morphing mess.
Other features include new gesture support, being able to follow back-and-forth tweets as conversations, and built in support for Deck.ly long posts.
The most notable omission still is the lack of push notification support. Seriously? Words With Friends even has push notification support.
Still Tweedeck 2.0 retains all the organizational benefits previous versions had as well as Facebook integration so everyone can see your tweets.
It is available for download now in the AppStore and of course is free.

No and Yes its an all iThings site and I understand your confusion as the Apps from the App Store(which was unable to be copyrighted by apple) are now being made for other devices but I a sure you this works with iphones/ipods.
Yeah, you'll be the coolest person in the room when you pull one out and show it around, but that gets old fast when three other people have them and one person somehow has one that glows in the dark.

I have already been using TD for some time now. I think it is great! However, the app store is not showing that it is an update?? I had to search for it and download it seperately?? I now have 2 TD apps on my iPhone? HUH???
I guess I will delete my V1 app?
Besides that...great app...iFan

Twitter is the next MySpace. It's about run it's 15 minutes of cyber fame. When it was first released it was great. A fraction of the celebrities, hardly any ads, and it was even easy to hook-up on it. lol Now you have PR people running Twitter accounts of "the real this" or "the real that", tons of spam, and the amount of annoying people have multiplied more than AIDS in Africa. I wont miss Twitter when it finally follows MySpace.

Unfortunately I had to delete Tweetdeck. The app crashes every single time I try to load a picture within a tweet. Once fixed, I might have to bump Tweetbot for it.
