Should I press CSV first and then show locations?
When I press CSV I get a pop up with a lot of lines.Last edited by chrislouter; 04-26-2011 at 08:46 AM.

How do I check if my firewall blocks it?
Flash is up to date.
How far do you have to zoom in to see something?

You DO know that those are your exact coordinates, right? And since they're all similar, probably the coordinates of where you live?
Anyways, it's not your firewall since you wouldn't get the map at all if it was blocked. I don't know what else it could be. Perhaps someone else can help. You don't have to zoom in at all. It will show the points even fully zoomed out.
There's no installing. You have to run it on the PC that has your backup on it.

Same problem here.
Its loading the world map and everything works, besides the little thing that its not showing up any location.
The CSV File itself contains the locations it is the exact same problem as @chrislouter has.
strange thing is that it even didnt work on my pc @work. but ive noticed another thing, when you check the "show locations per day" box, what kind of number is shown on the right bottom if you hit the play button in the maps window? in my case its showning a 14digit long number.
i could imagine that it should show a date instead?
sys:
Win7 64bit
.NET 4, latest version
Flash latest version
kaspersky internet security, turning on or off has no effect on iostracker
running as admin and/or in compatibility mode has also no effect on iostracker
EDIT:
Hah! Idea:
@chrislouter
if i'm reading your coordinates right, you should live somewhere in europe or maybe in germany, too?
this and if i'm right about iostracker should show a date instead of a 14digit long number ill guess we may have a localization problem here.
English date format is: MM/DD/YYYY
German date format is: DD/MM/YYYY
May the code interprets the german date wrong and with dates like 16/10/2010 the routine keeps crashing cause the date is impossible, as far as it only knows the english format.Last edited by prinz; 04-27-2011 at 01:35 PM.

Maybe by downloading & installing the english language pack via win7 update. It takes some time so I haven't tried it yet.
But it is also possible that its depending on the iOS language setting, I really dunno.
What i can say is that it works with iPhoneTracker on OSX. So the original source code can actually handle the german time format (DD/MM/YYYY). So maybe its a .NET localization problem and installing and activating the english language pack works.Last edited by prinz; 04-27-2011 at 01:39 PM.

I've noticed that the formatting of coordinates in the CSV file you posted are not consistent with what mine show. I've placed the following in Google Earth search:
"52,00029009,5,32588237", results in an error.
"52.00029009,5.32588237", works fine.
It appears that the two decimal points are used in some parts of the world and the comma in others. Perhaps this is why you are not seeing anything on the map.
I hope I haven't given you repetitive information.

Ok, sounds like that could be the issue, is there a way to fix that? I tried to edit the CSV file but it can't de editted.
I just checked the cydia app LocationDetective and in there it has dots, so why won't it work on my XP machine?Last edited by chrislouter; 04-29-2011 at 12:49 PM.

You may try to contact the developer to see if a modification can be made to change the "," to a "." in the expected location.
Good luck!

I developed a similar application: xSpy - software to read consolidated.db file
The difference is that it relies on StaticMap API: Google Static Maps API - Google Code
It needs you download your consolidated.db file as it doesn't read iTunes backup, i choose this because it seems that Apple doesn't want to remove this file in future iTunes backup so writing a feature that wouldn't be used i thought it would've been a waste of time.
