I'm pretty sure photobooth needs the A5 to render all 8 effects at once when you're in the menu.

Anybody have any luck finding out how to change the screen size or screen dimensions for an app..

This definitely isn't exactly new. I did this months ago right after The Daily was released. Most iPad apps doesn't work well on the iPhone 4 (at least in my experience.
