I don't get what the big deal is about the rumored white iPhone being pointless. So what if a new iPhone 5 is being released later in the year? For some consumers, release dates mean very little and may just buy it for the simple reason of wanting a white iPhone.

The iPhone 4 to me looked beautiful black, the white would just ... well would not look right to me, and this goes double for the white iPad. I use my first gen iPad to watch movies on it, tried watching it on my sisters new 2nd gen white iPad and well the movie watching experaince was bad I mean why do you want to watch/look at a nice video/picture and then be blinded by the the white border. Honestly Apple did right by me by not releasing the white iPhone 4, it looks ugly with the design it has. Now I own a white 3GS and I love it, has a nice shape and color to it, same goes for the my previous Black 3G.
I dont care about a White iPhone 4 because it would be a waste for my hard earned money (really I mean hard earned, as I am a college student). I would rather wait for my AT&T contract to end and then upgrade to the iPhone 5 (or whatever it is called) just because I dont want to buy a out dated piece of technology.
